Michael O’Connell joined Langdon Ford Financial in 1998 after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The College of New Jersey. In 2004 Michael also obtained the professional designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional from The American College.

Michael is a member of The Million Dollar Round Table which is the Premier Association of Financial Professionals. He has qualified for Court of the Table consecutively since 2004, an honor only 0.5% of financial professionals in the world achieve. Michael is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. In addition to his involvement in these professional associations, Michael takes on an active role within the firm, serving on the Langdon Ford Advisory Board and currently as a mentor to three of Langdon Ford Financial’s newest advisors.

Michael was recognized by Langdon Ford for his excellence in Financial Services by receiving the Jack Langdon New Advisor of the Year award in 2000 and the Award of Excellence in 2006. Since 2002, Michael has consistently ranked in the top 10 advisors at Langdon Ford as well as among the Top 50 Advisors in the country since joining Securian Financial Services.

When at leisure, Michael enjoys time with his wife Kimberly and their two children. He is also very active in competitive golf, participating in many New Jersey and Metropolitan area tournaments. He is also the current Club Champion at the North Jersey Country Club.
