Joseph Piela graduated from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, earning his Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance. In addition to his academic ambitions, Joseph was a member of the Varsity Football team, and advanced to become Captain of the “Quakers” in 1998, leading his team to the Ivy League Championship.

Joseph began his career working for Morgan Stanley and Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (NYC). In 2001, he transitioned from the New York Stock Exchange to the Property and Casualty industry where for over ten years he has proudly serviced small businesses and individuals. As of 2007, Joseph became owner of an independent, property and casualty, insurance brokerage firm.

In 2010, Joseph Piela joined the Langdon Ford Financial team as a Financial Advisor. Joseph continues to provide clients with the confidence and valuable resources needed to develop practical comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Joseph Piela currently resides in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. He is a member of the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce and on the Pastoral Council at the Church of St. Anne as well as parish ministries. In his leisure, he enjoys training for triathlons, recreational sports such as softball and flag-football, and spending time with family and friends.
